Over the past seven years, we’ve immersed ourselves in the world of Levitech. During this time, we have learned an astonishing amount about their business and their customers. With over 20 years of experience in semiconductor equipment development, manufacturing, and field support worldwide, Levitech’s profound understanding of high-tech equipment is impressive. They’ve left their mark on the industry in physics, chemistry, and innovative engineering. And we’ve been busy leaving our mark on Levitech.
Working alongside CEO Jaap Beijersbergen, we’ve supported the company with fundraising and cash flow management, as well as ongoing other financial and strategic advice. We’ve racked up quite a few frequent flyer miles with Jaap and his team (don’t worry, we compensated for the CO2!). All those air miles were well spent discussing investments, potential sales, and system performance with their industry partners, customers and investors.
A standout moment in our educational journey together has been the Levitor RTP. A single-wafer Rapid Thermal Processing (RTP) system that uses conduction heating instead of the conventional radiation method. This ingenious technology rapidly heats and cools wafers – those thin slices of semiconductor material used in the fabrication of integrated circuits and other microdevices. In other words, pretty deep stuff! Working with such innovative technology and fantastic clients over a long period is highly rewarding and always keeps us on our toes.
